MyStillnessLab: Your Companion to Mindful Living

Mindfulness for real life-explored slowly, shared simply.
I’m exploring mindfulness, self-inquiry, and meaning through lived experience. I conduct research and engage in small personal experiments. I share what actually helps busy mid-lifers stay grounded in real life.
Why MyStillnessLab ?
Mid-life can be full — career responsibilities, family, caregiving, inner questions, unfinished dreams.
On the outside, things may look “fine.”
On the inside, there’s often restlessness, self-judgment, and a quiet sense of something missing.
My own journey into mindfulness didn’t start as a hobby or a productivity hack.
It emerged from lived experience — stress, self-doubt, caregiving, grief, and the realization that constantly striving to “optimize” life was pulling me further away from myself.
I needed something simpler.
Something honest.
Something that fit inside real days.
MyStillnessLab is where I slow things down, work on one question at a time, and share what survives real life.
What I’m Exploring
At MyStillnessLab, I work on questions like:
- How do we stay present without needing to escape our responsibilities?
- How do we work with self-judgment instead of fighting it?
- How do we avoid dabbling endlessly — and still honor curiosity?
- How can mindfulness support caregiving, grief, and uncertainty?
- What practices actually fit into busy, imperfect lives?
I don’t share theory for theory’s sake.
I explore, research, experiment — and then distill what’s simple, practical, and humane.

What This is Not?
To be clear, MyStillnessLab is not:
- A productivity system
- A hustle culture brand
- A promise of constant content
- A sales funnel for a course that doesn’t exist yet
I believe mindfulness grows best in patience, honesty, and spaciousness — and this space reflects that.
About Coaching & Live Sessions
I’m not currently offering ongoing 1-on-1 coaching.
From time to time, I may host:
- a 60-minute live session,
- a reflective webinar,
- or a small group conversation around a specific topic.
These are infrequent, optional, and announced by email.
There is no standing commitment — for you or for me.
About Me
I’m a mid-life professional, lifelong learner, caregiver, and human being trying to live with more presence and less self-judgment.
I approach mindfulness not as an identity or aesthetic, but as a practice of meeting life as it is — including complexity, uncertainty, and change.
MyStillnessLab is not about becoming someone else.
It’s about learning to be with who you already are.
